Introducing Jesse Saip; Upcoming 2D Animator
It's funny how a simple image can inspire a person to make a whole career.
Do you like cartoons, video games, and all things fictional? As do I! So much so that I am studying to become an upcoming 2D animator! Here you'll find some of my art, animations, and my personal opinions from topics and lectures I've heard throughout my journey. Take a look around and enjoy!

Lecture Post #1: Interview from Co-Manager at Yeti Farm Creative
Todd Ramsy, Co-Founder of Yeti Farm creative, is a man I have grown to admire. His beginnings as an animator were not fully prosperous, and even he claimed that his main ambitions for animation didn't fully kick in until he failed his first course, then had to work himself back up at a crummy job to get back up again: I personally can relate to that, since there are times where we may not realize how much we want something until it's too late.
Thankfully for him, he was able to get a second chance. He worked long and hard to be successful, even overcoming intense challenges and unfortunate circumstances, such as being rejected by other studios, or having a broken wrist, making him unable to use his right hand.
(That one I can absolutely relate to.)
Todd described how even in the lowest point of your life, there is still ways to move up, even if it's by making a simple Zinc medicine commercial. By volunteering to help make that commercial, he managed to get enough money to get work up his own Studio and make it into what we know it as today.
He also showed how even making a short, obscure, and simple video, he was able to pitch in an idea for a television show for children.
Todd showed me how someone who started small and didn't even focus on the big picture at the time, can still build themselves back up into becoming one of the head directors of an animation studio. There will always be challenges, critics, uncertainty, and doubt that life will throw at you no matter where you go or what you do, but if Todd taught me anything through his lecture, is that you keep on drawing, and have fun with what you do. Even if you have to learn to draw with your left hand.
